Cartographer Sought for the Unmarked Verge
Between the stars, the Visitants are moving. We know where. Now, so do you.
The Trajectory Office is seeking a cartographer for the Unmarked Verge, the edge of the Dominion where the charts end. The post has been vacant for some time. The last three holders retired early. None would say why.
Applicants must hold a charting licence and have no close family. The Office describes this requirement as standard.
On Havenmere, the first evacuation ships have left. Whole districts now stand empty. Wardens report that the night-sound has not faded as residents leave. It is loudest in the empty districts.
Some evacuees have boarded Ilthari ships. They report being asked to leave behind their letters, photographs and recordings. The Ilthari have not said why.
The Office reminds citizens that an empty place is not an uncharted one.
