The Brasswright League

Merchant guild · Inner worlds

Charted

The merchant guild that controls most trade between the inner worlds. It controls the Whitepath, which it closed for forty years and reopened in Year 903.

It credits the Whitepath's shorter crossing to "improved navigation." Its pilots say they changed nothing.

When its freighter Even Keel failed to arrive on time, the League said the ship was not overdue, because the crossing time "is no longer fixed." It has kept the ship's berth open, and says it will keep it open. Seven days after the ship was due, the berth was still being held.
