The Whitepath
Trade route · Reopened Year 903
Charted
A trade route controlled by the Brasswright League. It was closed for forty years, and reopened in Year 903. No reason has been given for either.
Before the closure, the crossing took eleven days. The first convoy after reopening took six, on the same route.
Captain Ysolde Marr, who led the first convoy, reported that the stars along the route looked slightly wrong. She later withdrew the statement.
The crossing has since shortened again, to five days. The League's pilots have changed nothing.
The Trajectory Office has charted no Visitant near the Whitepath.
On its return crossing from Caddis, the freighter Even Keel, under Captain Marr, did not arrive when expected. Seven days later, it had still not arrived. The League says the ship is not overdue, because the crossing time "is no longer fixed."
Cargo insurers now end coverage if a ship arrives before it departs.
Uncharted
- Reason for the closure: not given
- Reason for the reopening: not given
- Reason for the shorter crossing: not charted
- Fate of the Even Keel: not known
