Last Ship to Leave Havenmere in Six Days

The Trajectory Office has named the last ship to leave Havenmere. The liner Faithful Return will depart in six days, two days before the Slow Choir arrives. No ship will call at Havenmere after it.
Most residents have now gone. Wardens report that about four hundred have not registered for any ship. Many are among those who hum the night-sound. They have given no reason. The Office reminds them that the evacuation order applies to everyone, and that the last ship will not wait.
Here at Lodestar Station, the post of cartographer for the Unmarked Verge has been filled. Cartographer Edda Vey, who holds a charting licence and lists no close family, left the Station yesterday for the Verge. She asked that her departure be announced.
The Even Keel has not arrived. The League has kept her berth open.
Havenmere has eight days.
